Saturday Grab Bag Bonanza

1. On the Baseball Front - The Sluggers aren't doing so well. Justine - who loves to win - is getting regular lessons on losing gracefully. She did make an excellent outfield catch last night, stopping a strong hit from heading out into the back of the ball field. Unfortunately her heroics weren't enough to slow down the other team, which had loaded up the bases late in the game.
2. Vegas Weather - Definitely itching for the trip now. Got a hotel reservation update that included a weather forecast for the days we'll be there. High 70s and sunny. Justine got so excited she ran back to her room and dug out her new swim suit from Aunt Andi to try it on.
3. Scenes from a Garden - Awhile back, I promised a photo of the tomato plants. One of them is on the left next to the alyssum although it's hard to see in this photo. On the right is the pot where the dill plant sprung up unexpectedly. I've been trying to grow dill from seed for several years and it never took. Have no idea how this got in here with the calendula, flax and other wildflowers. Maybe a passing bird dropped it off.
